There are two types of student visas, depending on the duration of your studies in Switzerland.
- C Visa – is a short-stay visa, which is for courses that are up to 90 days, such as language schools, summer schools etc.
- D Visa – is a long-stay visa for students study in Switzerland for a period longer than 180 days. International students are granted a Schengen visa for a period of one year with the possibility of extension.
