An applicant for a visa to be self-employed in Canada must meet the following requirements:
have relevant experience
– have taken part in cultural activities or athletics at a world-class level, or
– been self-employed in cultural activities or athletics, or
– have experience in managing a farm.- meet the selection criteria in terms of:
- age
- experience
- education
- language abilities and
- adaptability
- meet health, security and financial requirements
