Prospective Marriage Visa (Subclass 300)

An Australian Prospective Marriage visa is for a fiance/fiancee (those proposed for marriage) of Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or eligible New Zealand citizens to enter Australia to marry their fiance(e). It is valid for nine months, during which time the successful applicant must marry the Australian fiance if he/she wishes to remain in Australia.

    • intend to live in a genuine marital relationship with their fiance(e)
