New Zealand Student English Language Exemptions Extended

Posted on September  29 , 2015

The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) which sets the English language requirements for international students to study in NZ made some changes to the English requirements, which were to come into effect on 1 Oct, as we reported here.  The changes are now due to come into effect on 24 October 2015, being one month since publication of student visa approval rates on the Immigration New Zealand (INZ) website.

These rates were published on 24 September 2015, meaning that the new rules will apply to applications for a first New Zealand student visa that are submitted to INZ from 24 October 2015.
